23-Feb-2009 | Local leaders are in Austin this week for "Panhandle Days". It's something they do every two years to discuss issues important to the area with state legislators.
Councilmen Roger Wright and Kerry Symons along with CDC Board Member Charlotte Hale traveled with Chamber President Cynthia Symons, Chamber Executive Marilyn Reiswig and Chamber Administrative Assistant Cyndi Bolinger to Austin for Panahndle Days in Austin.
They say "Panhandle Days" are especially important this year with the tough economy. Health care is another issue they'll discuss this week. |
